Louise and Rachael’s ace farmhouse wedding

I was so excited to edit Louise and Rachael’s wedding video after meeting them at the National Wedding Show last year. We chatted for a long time and watched one of my other videos and the girls were telling me that they weren't sure whether they wanted a video, so I'm so chuffed that they chose me to edit their special day.

L&R

The girls spent the morning together with friends and family, all getting ready for the exciting day ahead with a delicious breakfast and champagne.

morning

I’m not going to lie, I shed a few tears editing this one! The girls chose an acoustic Alison Moyet track to walk down the aisle to and it set me off every time, I had to have a few breaks! The look on their faces as they walked in and met in the middle was so lovely. If you can watch it and not cry… well, then you’re doing better than me.

I had SO MUCH FUN editing Louise and Rachael’s wedding day. Their friends really got on board with the idea of Rockstar Wedding video and filmed some really funny footage. I particularly enjoyed Dan’s exclusive reporting throughout the wedding so edited the highlights appropriately for him. Hey, that much effort is deserving of your own section (and theme music).

exclusives

The brides looked stunning and I had serious bridesmaid envy from the gorgeous jumpsuits.

bridesmaids

This wedding wasn’t without a few special guest appearances. The speeches were really brilliant, I struggled to cut bits out but the girls had got some very special celebrity footage which went down a treat with the guests.

Bev&Sal

You can clearly see how much fun everyone was having at the party. Louise and Rachael enjoyed a first dance that moved into a fun, choreographed routine and the rest of the night was a mix of glow-sticks, popcorn, glitter face painting and celebrity DJs!

party

A standout moment for me is remembering meeting the girls at the wedding fair and Rachael telling me she was shy when it came to being on camera - cut to the party and shy Rachael is rapping on stage to Jay Z! LOVED IT! This is exactly what Rockstar is about; not having a stranger at your wedding and friends capturing the real fun from your day.

rap

Ladies, it was an absolute pleasure to edit your big day. I hope you enjoy your video as much as I enjoyed editing it.
